As a group of 2 travelers and polish passport holders we plan on entering Vietnam after visiting Cambodia, going by ground directly from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City. Are we eligible for the evisa application if we do not arrive at any international airport, but by ground route instead? I am looking to travel to Vietnam for about 6 weeks next year and visit Laos while in the region.

The gov.uk website only says that I need to visit the Vietnamese embassy in London (this isn't really an option for me as I live in Scotland) to get tourist visa's over 30 days. However I have seen conflicting information stating that a 90 day multiple entry visa on arrival is available online.

I am a British Citizen travelling into Vietnam on Monday March 19th landing in Ho Chi Minh City. I will then be taking a domestic flight to Hanoi on the same day.

My enquiry is that I will be in Vietnam up until Monday April 2nd on which day I will be taking a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. That leaves me with 15 days in Vietnam, but being British national I do not need a VISA for that duration.

However, I will be returning BACK to Vietnam on April the 5th, flying in to Ho Chi Minh City, staying another 3 days then catching my International flight back to the UK departing on Sunday April 8th.

Hello there! I wish to travel from Thailand (Bangkok) by air to and from Vietnam, port of entry and exit Ha Noi, using my British passport. The travel agent says I should simply get a visa for 15 days on arrival at Ha Noi airport with a British passport (which is fine) but he is not sure of the cost - if any at all.

Myself, husband and 2 children aged 18 and 14 want to travel to Ho Chi Ming on Sat 29 January and will be there approx. 2 weeks before heading across the border into Cambodia. Will it be too difficult / expensive to do VOA as it is a weekend.

As other countries such as India , require a return ticket to show at the airport upon arrival to get the visa, I wonder is this required for Vietnam? As I could not find anything written on this matter from this page, I am understanding that its not a requirement, but I want to double check. I look forward to your reply.

On 3/6/2016 I will be arriving by cruise ship (Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Sea) to Ho Chi Minh City. Can I apply for my visa on arrival now? The ship is there for 3/6/16 and 3/7/16, I will sleep on the ship and visit during the day. My other question is would I need a single entry visa or a multiple entry visa?

I am a Turkish Citizen. Is it possible to enter Vietnam with an approval letter, and have the visa on arrival? The Embaasy of Vietnam in Turkey tells that "visa on arrival" is not permitted for the Turkish as there is an Embassy in the country.
