15 day visa exemption - multiple entry
15 day visa exemption - multiple entry
With the 15 day visa exemption...
a) is it possible to leave and re-enter the country within the 15 days?
e.g.
- enter Vietnam on Day 1
- go from Vietnam to Cambodia on Day 10
- stay in Cambodia for a 3 days
- then re-enter Vietnam on day D 14
b) is it possible to leave and re-enter outside the 15 days?
e.g.
- enter Vietnam on Day 1
- go from there to Cambodia on Day 10
- stay there 7 days
- re-enter Vietnam on Day 17, therefore getting a 2nd "15-day exemption"
Thank you very much for your help!
Cam
Dear Sir/Madam,
You cannot to leave and re-enter within 15 days. When you go back to Vietnam, you have to apply the visa.
Thanks,

We arrive in Vietnam on Friday 13th July and leave on Friday 10th August.
During our stay in Vietnam, we have booked flights to Siem Reap departing Saturday 28th, probably returning to Vietnam within a week.
My concern is that our Vietnam visa will not allow us re-entry. Is that correct? When we return to Vietnam it is likely to be on the 5th August, so for a one week further stay in Vietnam before our international flight home to the UK. Will we be covered by the 'up to 15 day no visa required rule' if we travel from Cambodia as UK nationals for our extra week?
Thanks
Dear Diane Beaven,
You can use your 15 day visa emxemption from your British passport to enter Vietnam from Cambodia to advoid any unnecessary fees.
However, if you wish to extend your stay, we can do it for you. Just send your passport scan, visa stamp and visa sticker to our email visa@vietnam-evisa.org, after submitting your request to the Immigration Dept, we will inform the extension fee.
Sincerely yours,
Daniel Ho - Evisa Team
Did you figure out the visa situation in the end? I am going in October and doing the same as you. I was wondering if I could use the visa waiver once, and a single entry visa for second entry, or if we will need multi entry visa. My whole trip to Vietnam is 15 days, but 5 days of Cambodia in the middle (flying in and out)
I hope you are having a good trip!
Regards
Suraj

We arrived on a 15 day UK entry. Can we visit laos after around 10 days for a week and come back into Vietnam and get another 15 days???
Regards Greg
dear sir/madam
- Citizens of the United Kingdom won't need a visa if staying for fewer than 15 days.
- A gap of at least 30 days between two visa-free visits is required.
- In case of intending to stay for more than 15 days, you should apply for a visa.
so in thís case, please apply for a visa for you return from Laos
thanks

Now doing the neighbouring countries, my visa finishes on 26 can I re-enter Vietnam again without visa
Thanks
Dear Jose rodrigo,
Thanks for your concern,
Vietnam offers 15-day visa exemptions with single entry for visitors from Spain. However, their
passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’
requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption.
For any further details, please contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at +84.327.117.119

Dear Bilbir
Thanks for your concern,
If the last time you enter with visa for full 30 days and leave teh country so this time you can have 15 days free visa.
Vietnam offers 15-day visa exemptions with single entry for visitors from the U.K.. However, their
passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’
requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption.
Otherwise, they will need a Vietnam visa.
If you stay more than 15 days please apply for Vietnam visa
Best Regards.
