Australians visiting Phu Quoc for 11 days

We are 2 x Australians visiting Phu Quoc for 11 days. We fly into Ho Chi Minh then plan to get a bus and boat to the island, but will have no booking for these. Also we have no accommodation booked. Will we need a visa without proof we are visiting Phu Quoc for our entire trip?

We would like to inform that Australians passport holder need have visa to enter Vietnam.
If you enter HO CHI MINH by plane first, you can apply visa on arrival to get visa stamp at HO CHI MINH airport.
Then you can travel to Phu Quoc island by plane or bus without any proplem.
