I am a British citizen. Do I need to apply for a visa to come and visit Vietnam for 14 days?

Thanks for your question!
It is informed that UK passport holders do not need visa if staying in Vietnam within 15 days (valid until Jun/30/2017). However, the previous visit must be far from the next one at least 30 days. In addition, the passport must be valid at least 6 months

Can you clarify whether the waiver for UK passport holders visiting Vietnam for less than 15 days still exists? The British Foreign Office website says that the waiver agreement is valid until June 2018, whereas the Vietnamese Immigration service indicates that it expired in June 2017?

From the date of July 1st, 2017 to over the date of June 30th, 2018: Vietnam government continues to give out 15 days visa exemption policy for citizens from 5 countries: Kingdom of Great Britain, Republic of France, Federal Republic of Germany, Kingdom of Spain and Republic of Italy
