Combine E-Visa and visa-free entry
Oct 20, 2017
Hi,
I am planning to visit Vietnam and Laos January next year. Is it possible for a German passport holder to use Vietnam's new E-Visa ( https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt ) for the first entry, and then enter Vietnam visa free a second time within 20 days for less than 15 days? The condition for visa free is "Two consecutive visa-free entries must be at least thirty (30) days apart. This rule does not apply to those who enter Vietnam with a valid visa.". This should apply because E-Visa is a valid visa for Germany, correct?
Thanks in advance,
Robert Peter
