Hi there - I am going to be travelling across Southeast Asia and Vietnam is one of my destinations. I am going to be flying into Hanoi and then travelling down the coast to Ho Chi Minh City. I don't know my exact entry and exit dates as of yet. It just depends on when I am ready to move on from my previous destinations. Can I just pick arbitrary dates for my visa or do I have to have the exact entry and exit dates?

We would like to inform with you that with the approval letter we will offer you which is issued by the Immigration dept then you can get your Visa at any international airports such as: Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi as well as Danang and Cam Ranh airports.
Regards to your arrival date, you can estimate it, for example, you choose your arrival date is 01st Oct (and you apply for 1 month type of Visa) then your Visa will be valid from 01st Oct to 01st Nov, you then are able to enter Vietnam at anytime during this period.
