In your case, kindly check with airline first if you enter Immigration counter to get luggage or not. If yes, you need visa
Since you are holding France passport, you will have visa exemption for 15 days with condition that the passport must be valid at least 6 months from the entry date as well as The previous visit must be far away from the next one at least 30 days
In case you check with airline and they said you need visa for transit, then you can use visa exemption for this time to save your money. For second trip, you apply for new visa to come back to Da Nang
In contrast, the airline tell that no need visa for transit, you can use visa exemption for a week when you return Da Nang
