E-Visa Expedited
Sep 26, 2018
Hi there,
I booked a last-minute ticket from where I am now (Thailand) to Vietnam to join my friends. I booked my flight two days before takeoff. I applied for the e-visa and I have a few questions:
1. How long does it take for the e-visa to be approved?
2. Is there a way to expedite the process?
3. If the visa gets approved while I'm on the way to Vietnam, is there an issue I don't have it printed?
4. I have visited multiple countries before going to Vietnam, does that make me exempt from needing a visa before arriving?
Thanks,
Shailla

Dear Shailla,
It is our pleaure to answer your questions:
- It takes 3 working days to process e-visa in normal case in case you arrive in Viet Nam by border
- You can apply online to get evisa https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-e-visa.html instead of appying at Viet Nam Embassy
- In case you arrive by border, you must get print-out letter. However, if you enter by airplane, you can show it on your phone to board and print out at Viet Nam airport to get visa stamp
- You still need Viet Nam visa to enter even though you have visited many countries before
Any help, please feel free to contact us
Thanks
