Full Name Format on application form
Full Name Format on application form
Hi,
On your online application form for visa on arrival. The full name section, should the name be in First Name, Last Name or Last Name, First Name format? Or it doesn't matter?
Thanks.
Dear Sir/ Madam
Thanks for your email.
We would like to confirm that the order of full name is not important as long as your name is the same as in your passport. So you can put it with First Name then Last Name or Last Name then First Name.
Any more question, please feel free to contact us.
Regards,
E-visa Team
I have recently received my E-Visa for Vietnam. It mentions my full name as AGRAWAL VIBHU i.e. surname followed by first name.
But my passport mentions my name as VIBHU AGRAWAL, i.e. first name followed by surname.
I want to ensure if the Visa authorities' format is of mentioning the surname first or there is an error in my Visa?
Note: I had applied sharing the picture of my passport. Hence there was no error from my side in filling the form.
Thanks in advance.
On my passport is says: surname= Lammens , given names= Filip Beatrijs L.
The first time i used 'Filip Beatrijs Lammmens' as full name and the second time i used 'Filip Beatrijs Lambert Lammens' (because Lambert is wat the L. stands for). What should i fill in with full name? I leave this weekend so if you could answer rapidly that would be great. Thanks in advance
Dear sir/ madam,
Thanks for your question,
For full name, You must fill exactly as Full name in you your passport ( including surname )
If can, Please send us your passport scan to check your information first.
Please send it visa email: visa@vietnam-evisa.org
Thanks

I just submitted eVisa applications for myself and my husband ( US citizens). I included all of the names that appear on our passport, First, Middle, and Last, in that order because that is what the field noted on the form. However, now I see that the order is different on our passports with Last name first. Will this be a problem upon entry?
Thank you in advance for your quick reply so that i may have peace of mind before our trip begins!

For one of our client the Surname in Passport is Blank and the name printed on Visa is XXX as per the Chennai Consulate Guidelines and airlines is denying stating it will not allow due to additional characters of XXX.
Kindly clarify as the name in BAR Code is correct.
