Dear Sir/Madam
I would like to apply VISA for Vietnam.I will be staying at my friends place.Is it required to provide my friend's Vietnamese Identity card in the immigration department? and is it mandatory to have a hotel booking before entering Ho chi minh city,because i will be staying at my friends place not in the hotel.

When you apply visa on arrival with us, you do not need to provide us any documents and you can stay in your friend's house normally. To apply visa, you just need to fill in the application form online at our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html , then pay for us online. After that, the visa approval letter will be sent to your email within 2 working days (for tourist visa). You then can print this letter to board the plane and get visa stamp at Vietnam airport.
