Thank you for reaching us.
If you enter Vietnam with the US passport, you only need to show the US passport to enter Vietmam. But please note that the US passport holders are required a Visa to enter Vietnam.
Therefore, you must show your US passport with the Visa to enter.
However, Philippines passport holders are exempted from Vietnam for 21 days. If you enter Vietnam with the Philippines passport, you do not need to show the Visa.
