I am going to Hanoi for 5 days mid January. As a french citizen do I need a visa? thanks

Thank you for your question.
We would like to inform with you that France are exempted from Vietnam visa for 15 days (your passport must be valid at least 6 months). However, the previous visit must be far 30 days the next visit. So if you haven't entered Vietnam before, you do not need to get visa for 5 days.
