I'm intending to fly from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh in late December 2016 but am unsure of exact arrival date. It will be on or after 18th December but as I have yet to book a flight I don't have an exact date. I intend to stay in Vietnam for approx 7 to 10 days. Do I need to know my exact arrival & departure dates before I apply for Visa on arrival?

We would like to advise that you can put estimated date of arrival and then you can enter Vietnam any time in accepted period which depends on your visa (1 month or 3 months or 06 months,..). The visa will be valid from your arrival date, which will be the date you give us in the application.
