One way ticket to enter to Vietnam
One way ticket to enter to Vietnam
I will arrive in Vietnam on 23Sep. I have two questions:
- I understand that I can get the visa approval letter at any time before that day. Can you please confirm?
- I will have one way ticket available on 23 Sep. My plan is to stay in Vietnam less than one month. I have not decided yet where I will travel after Vietnam, so my plan is to by a ticket while I'm there. Should I have a ticket to leave Vietnam to get the visa?
Thank you for your answer.
Regards,
Carina
Dear Sir/Madam,
Tourisr visa takes 2 working days to process, while business visa needs 3 (Except weekend). So you do not have to inform us the ticket number, but you should apply us as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Anna Lily (Ms.)

Dear Rossana
If you stay longer than 15 days, you should apply 1 moth single entry tourist visa in advance. Because of overstay, the fee for paying over fee or appling extend visa is much more higher than the application for the new visa.
You can apply at our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html
Any questions, feel free to contact us

We are flying from the UK to Vietnam we plan on spending roughly 6 months travelling around Asia.
We will apply for a 3 month multiple entry visa for Vietnam but will be let into the country with a one way ticket?
what additional proof will they need as we wont book other flights until we arrive.
Would a bus ticket to Cambodia be enough?
We hate to make plans on selected dates, do you have any advice to what the easiest solution would be?
Many Thanks!
Dear Natalie Kaya,

Please could you assist with clarification on some of the below questions i have,
1) When entering into Vietnam on a visitors or Business visa, can i extend the stay after the three months visa has expired within Vietnam or would i need to leave the county and return on a new visa application?
2) What is the maximum visa extensions allowed in a given year before i would be required to leave the country?
3) Can i apply for a work permit within Vietnam even though i have spend already three months in the country as the website indicates a police clearance from your host country is required?
Regards
Dear Shawn,
It's our pleasure to answer all your queries
Question 1. There are 2 options for you:
- The first one: When you are in Viet nam , you can extend visa if it has been expired.
- The second one: You can also leave Viet Nam and apply for new visa to return to country
Question 2.
For visa extension, no need to leave country . We need to check your current visa with Immigration first, then inform you the fee and maximum length of visa in order that you can extend it easily
Question 3:
You can apply for work permit in Viet Nam but you need to prepare many documents and vietnamese company act as a guarantee for you

Dear Tim Skene
- Citizens of the United Kingdom won't need a visa if staying for fewer than 15 days.
- A gap of at least 30 days between two visa-free visits is required.
- In case of intending to stay for more than 15 days, you should apply for a visa.
If you use Australia passport, you need visa to arrive Vietnam
And the one way ticket is accepted in this case
Thanks
