My Canadian Passport has less than six month until it expires. I am applying for a temporary passport from the Canadian consulate in Hong Kong which will be valid for 12 months. Please will you confirm that this will be acceptable to the Vietnam authorities.

In this case, please contact with the Vietnam Embassy to check if they can help you to process visa since we do not issue visa for temporary passport holders
