I have a bit of a dilemma with my question
I am currently planning to backpack through some of the asian countries including Vietnam
My question is this - Can a Russian citizen still be granted a 15 day visa free entrance if he enters Vietnam from air ( Hong kong to Hanoi) and leaves Vietnam by land (Vietnam Cambodia/Laos) within the 15 day period
As i understand i have to show my exit ticket from Vietnam for me to get a 15 day visa free entrance but would it be an issue at the border if i show them a bus ticket of some sort or i have to show a plane ticket as well.

Thank you for your question.
You can arrive in Vietnam by airplane to get 15 days free visa, then can leave Vietnam by land without any problems. By the way, there is no need to show your return ticktet to get visa exemption as long as you leave Vietnam before your visa is expired.
