According to The Vietnamese Immigration Department's Regulation, from July 1st 2015 to June 30th 2016, UK passport holders have 15 days Vietnam Visa exemption if they did not enter the country within last 30 days.

If you do not meet these needs, you are required Visa to arrive Vietnam.

Thank you for your question.

We would like to confirm that from July 1, 2015 to June 2016, 6 countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK) no need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit. 

If you don't need visa to enter Vietnam, you still need to to prepare 2 passport photo, fill in the entry and exit form at Hochiminh airport when you're on arrival.
