I am a UK Citizen living in the USA and plan on traveling to Vietnam for a week at the end of this month.

Thank you for your email.
We would like to inform with you that from July 1, 2015 to June 2017, UK passport holders do not need Vietnam visa if staying less than 15 days. But the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit and your passport must be valid at least 6 months.
If you have never entered Vietnam before and just stay a week, you do not need to get visa.
