Vietnam visa for second entry within 14 days?
Oct 23, 2019
My partner and I are planning to holiday in Vietnam from the UK for a 14 day period before Christmas, and as UK passport holders we understand that we can currently enter by flight visa-free. But during that period we also plan to visit Laos for a few days. We shall then return to Vietnam by flight from Laos to Hanoi. Our total vacation will not exceed 14 days, when we shall fly back to the UK.
Do we need to obtain a multiple-entry tourist visa for our later entry at Hanoi, or will a single entry tourist visa be permissible?

Dear Roger Driscoll
- Citizens of the United Kingdom won't need a visa if staying for fewer than 15 days.
- A gap of at least 30 days between two visa-free visits is required.
- In case of intending to stay for more than 15 days, you should apply for a visa.
Because during your stay, you will leave and re enter, so you need to apply for the visa
Please apply for 1 month single entry at https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html for the return one, the first arrival you can use your visa exemption
Thanks
Scarlette Le (Ms.)
