I am a UK Passport holder and am travelling on vacation to Vietnam in July for 11 days and would like to know if I need to obtain a tourist visa for this time please?

UK are exempted from Vietnam visa for 15 days, but this policy is just valid until the end of June. So you should wait until that time to check again if this visa exemption policy is extended or not.
