Visa

Hi,
I understand that with the new visa policy that because I carry a German passport I do not require to purchase a visa for my stay before I travel as my stay is less than 15days. However I'm just not clear on wether I still need an approval letter?
Just to be clear does this exemption mean that there are no procedures that I need to do before my trip for a visa, and that I just arrive in Vietnam and get a visa stamp for my stay of 7days?
Thanks in advance,
Sarah

Dear Sarah,
With visa exemption, your passport should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, and your arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date . Otherwise, you will need a Vietnam visa. There are no procedures, so you only need to bring your passport along and get your visa exemption stamp at the arrival airport.
