My partner who is Romanian and I will be visiting Vietnam in November on a cruise ship. What type of Visa will we require and how do we obtain them? Our cruise stops in several Vietnamese ports and one of the shore excursions we shall be doing involves an overnight stay in Hanoi so we need visas that permit multiple entry.

If you enter by seaport, you can apply electronic visa at this link https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-e-visa.html
However, electronic visa is single entry only
If you want multiple visa, you should apply with VIETBAM embassy to get visa before entering VIETNAM
