visa
Hi I hope you can be of some assistance.
My wife and I ( british citizens) will be touring S E Asia for 24 nights, commencing 12th Feb 2017. Our 1st leg of the trip is from Kuala Lumpur to Da nang where we will be staying for 6 nights. We will then fly from Da nang to HCMC and then straight to Cambodia for 5 nights. We then return to HCMC for one night before commencing our trip to Malaysia, We will not be returning to Vietnam. All ini all we will be in Vietnam for 8 days. Do we need a visa as with new legislation is less than 15 days. Or do we need a visa because of the two separate entries i.e from KL and Cambodia. Kind regards Paul
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your email.
First of al, We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2017, 6 countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Belarus) no need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit and your passport's validity must be more than 6 months.
Secondly, based on your itinerary, you have to apply Visa when you re-enter Vietnam from Cambodia, you just need to fill your information out at :vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html to apply with us
