I have a US green card, so I don't have a passport. Do I need a passport in order to get a visa entry to Việt Nam!?

It is informed that we can not process visa for US green card holders. Please contact with the Vietnam Embassy for detail. Or do you still keep valid Vietnam passport? If yes, you can use it to enter Vietnam without visa
