I plan on going to Vietnam in No 2016 - I am an Italian citizen and everything thing I read indicates that a visa isn't needed up until June 30, 2016 but what happens after that date? Will I need a visa or will the exemption be extended?

We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2016, 6 countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Belarus) no need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit.So going to Vietnam in No 2016, you need apply visa. And you can apply here https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html
