visa for a 3 day stay in Vietnam

Nov 07, 2017
My husband and I are traveling with Philippine passports. From the Philippines, we will travel by air to Hanoi, take a Halong Bay cruise... then back to Hanoi for a day, then fly out. Do we need a visa fro this trip?

Thank you.

Dear Ms. Cielo R. Quiambao,

We would like to inform that the Filipino citizens are granted a visa-exempt stay of 21 days with single entry. Their passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption. Otherwise, they will need a Vietnam visa. Refering to your itinerary, a Vietnam visa is not required.

Should you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at (+84) 909 343 525

Best regards,

Hannah Yan (Ms.)
