Visa for mulpiple stops in Vietnam on cruise ship
Dec 05, 2017
Hi,
We are two US citizens that will be leaving Hong Kong on January 20th for a two-week cruise with the Windstar company with multiple port calls in Vietnam over a two week period. Would we need a visa in advance of our arrival at our first port of call? Would we need a multi-entry visa or are people on cruise ships considered a single entry even with multiple port calls? Should we decide to fly back to Vietnam after our cruise ends in Bangkok I guess we would then definitely need a multi-entry visa. correct? Thank you, Jim Petersen

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your question,
If you want to enter Vietnam by cruise, you have to apply for e-visa. However, e-visa is just valid in 1 month with single entry; you can use it to travel to Vietnam in the first time. In the second time, you want to fly to Vietnam, you can apply for visa on arrival on our website at this link https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html.

Eve Du (Ms.)
