Visa for Vietnam

Feb 02, 2016

I am flying into HCMC on 24th February and staying for 3 days. I then fly to Siam Reap in Cambodia for 2 days and return to Vietnam to Da Nang airport for 6 days, then fly to Hanoi for 3 days before returning to the UK. I have read that tourist visas are now not required for 15 day visits up to June 2016. Therefore will I require a visa for my planned trip?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thanks for your question.

According to The Vietnamese Immigration Regulations, UK passport holders have 15 days Vietnam Visa exemption, if they did not enter the country within last 30 days. In this case, you will enter Vietnam 2 times, so you do not need Visa for the first time. However, when you come back to Danang from Cabodia you have to apply for Visa.

You can apply for Visa online while you are in Cambodia via our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html. After receiving your application, we will send you the Visa approval letter within 2 working via your email. You use this letter to get Visa stamp at the airport when you arrive Vietnam.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any question.

Thanks,

EVisa Team
