We are cruising in March and will be visiting Vietnam on two separate occasions how should we get the visa necessary

The online visa (or Visa on arrival) is just accepted if you are travelling by plane only. If you enter to Vietnam by cruise, you should apply visa at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate Office in your living country.
