Visa on Arrival
Nov 07, 2017
Hi there,
I am flying to Ho Chi Minh city on the 15th December until the 2nd of January 2018. I have already booked flight tickets, however, what is the guarantee that I will have my visa approved on arrival? I wanted to double check with you the procedure for obtaining a VOA- first I need to apply online for an approval letter, and once I have this letter, then I can bring my passport and 2 photos to the immigration bureau when I arrive at the airport so that I get the actual stamp/visa there. Is that correct?
What about if I want to travel to Cambodia for 3-4 days? Do I need to make a multiple entry visa for Vietnam?

Dear Gabriela,
The procedure: "first I need to apply online for an approval letter, and once I have this letter, then I can bring my passport and 2 photos to the immigration bureau when I arrive at the airport so that I get the actual stamp/visa there" is correct.
And if you want to travel to Cambodia for 3-4 days, then return to Vietnam. You need to apply for the multiple entry Visa.
Thanks,
Hanamie
