Visa on Arrival in Phu Quoc

In addition IF YOU BOOK DIRECT FLIGHT NONE TRANSIT IN MAINLAND, foreigners who enter into national boundary gates in Vietnam (including air way and sea way) and stay in these international boundary gates to wait to transit into Phu Quoc Island can stay in Phu Quoc Island not more than 30 days without visa request.

However if you want to apply for visa  and your visa TYPE IS VOA ( Visa on arrival ) you can show that visa letter to get visa done Phu Quoc

VISA ON ARRIVAL MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO APPLY BEFORE YOU ENTER VIETNAM NOT APPLY AT VIETNAM AIRPORT.
