Hello, I have a few questions about Visa On Arrival requirement for Vietnam.
1) Some internet sites said the photo size should be 35mm x 45mm, 4cm x 6cm, 5cm x 5cm. Which size is correct and does it have to be exact ?
2) How many photos do I need for Visa On Arrival ?
3) Background of the photo should be white. The place I had my visa taken were not exactly white. Background of photo was slightly off white (very light grey), is slight grey ok ?

- The size should be 4x6cm but 3.5x4.5cm, 5x5cm are accepted
- You need to prepare 2 photos
- Yes, slight grey will be fine

I'm an American and will be going to Vietnam in November. I would like to apply for an e-visa. The instructions for the e-visa state that the photos have NO smiles and NO glasses. However my passport photo was taken in 2010 when glasses and smiles were permitted. Will my passport be accepted? If so, should my VISA picture match my passport with glasses or should I not wear glasses? I’m hoping that I don’t need to get a new passport.

I heard Vietnam is not very strict about photograph specification for Visa on arrival. I have photographs of 35mmx 45mm size. In case this is not acceptable, do they have facility at DA NANG airport to instantly get the Visa photographs taken as per Vietnam specification? The other photographs I have are with blue background, is that acceptable?
