Hello,
I'm thinking of traveling to Viet Nam from Singapore in February 2018. I would like to fly from SIN to SGN and then from HAN to SIN. Would I be able to do eVISA for all of this trip? I will be in the country only about 7 or 8 days.

Based on your itinerary, you can apply for visa on arrival to get visa stamp at Ho Chi Minh airport first. One month single tourist visa is the best choice for you. The service fee is 19 USD, not including 25 USD stamping fee paid at the airport
