Dear Sir / Madam - I am joining a friend on a cruise liner - flying to Bangkok and joining the ship in Bangkok, Thailand - but the cruise will also travel twice to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, during a 20 day period.
Are there any formal visa requirements I need to attend to before I depart from South Africa. (I only leave South Africa on 22 December 2018.

If you enter Vietnam by seaport check point, please apply for a visa directly at Vietnam Embassy as South African Passport is not eligible for Evisa online
