Visa Requirements

Thanks for your question.

We would like to confirm that US passport holders need Visa to arrive Vietnam. You can apply for Visa on our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html. After receiving your applicaiton and your payment, we will send you the Visa approval letter which will be issued by The Vietnamese Immigration Department. Then, you use this letter to get Visa stamp at the airport when you arrive Vietnam.

So you do not need to go directly to the Embassy anymore.
