Visa to Vietnam

Mar 03, 2019
Hello, I'm an Italian citizen travelling to Vietnam on April. I will be there only 8 days. I think that I do not need a visa. Is that right?
This is what the site www.visa-vietnam.org.vn says:
Vietnam visa exemption list:

Visa free less than 30 days: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Campodia (*).
Visa free less than 21 days: Philippines (*).
Visa free less than 14 days: Brunei, Myanmar (can enter and exit Vietnam many times (*).
Visa free less than 15 days: Japan, South Korean, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Belarus, Germany, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy (**).

Thank you very much for your collaboration.

Dear Victor,

Italian passport holders do not need visa if staying in Vietnam within 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far from the next one at least 30 days. In addition, the passport must be valid at least 6 months

Best regards,

Nina Huynh
