hi I was just wondering when you need to apply for a visa and my second question is a friend of mine was going to consider coming with me on a holiday to vietnem but has been told if you have a drink drive charge you can not get a visa or enter the country is this true as she has never been in trouble with the law this was the only time

For the first question, we are pleased to reply that you need to apply Visa 4-7 days before your departure date to Viet Nam. Because the process will take 2 working days, except weekend and holiday.
Secondly, the Immigration will not allow someone to enter Viet Nam if they are in the list of crime or have criminal recording. We do not know about the law you mentioned hence please do not worry about it.
