Can I apply for a new E-Visa when I am currently in Vietnam?

According to the E-Visa policy, E-Visa is only issued for foreigners who are currently abroad, wishing to enter into Viet Nam (NOT to foreigners who are currently temporary resident in Viet Nam).

Therefore, you cannot apply for a new E-Visa when you are currently in Vietnam. For those who are currently in Vietnam and want to enter Vietnam within a few days, you are required to exit from Vietnam prior to your submission of your new E-Visa application.

Otherwise, your E-Visa will be denied by the Vietnam Immigration department.
