Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 will last for nearly one month

This year marks the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival. Unlike previous years, where the festival spanned 5 to 7 days, this year's event will extend to 25 days. The Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee believes that this extension will enhance the festival's impact and boost tourism in the region.

This year, the Flower Festival chose the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors" to show the difference from previous Festivals. The reason is that in 2024, Da Lat City will be recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City in Music and one of Asia’s “Top 5 Impressive Festival Cities.” The festival will introduce a variety of new activities, including an international cultural exchange program, a rock band festival, and an international Korean music program, among others.

The festival will feature 10 main programs, 12 supporting programs, and additional events. The 10 main programs include the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Flower Festival, a New Year's Eve 2025 Art Program and Closing Ceremony, flower spaces, and an international conference on green tourism and cultural industries. 

The 12 supporting programs include the “Dalat Fun Color” Music Festival, the “Bao Lam – Legend and Convergence” Festival, the Korea - Da Lat 2024 Music Festival, and several running events. Additionally, the festival will showcase cultural preservation workshops, art exhibitions, and interactive tourism experiences.

Through the festival the city aims to continue promoting the cultural style of Da Lat people as "Gentle - Elegant - Hospitable." The festival seeks to inspire pride among the people of Da Lat - Lam Dong and encourage community responsibility among all levels, sectors, unions, localities, businesses, and organizations, both within and outside the province, to actively participate and enhance the brand and position of Da Lat city.
