Vietnamese rice dishes stand out in international Top 100 list (Taste Atlas)

Banh Beo (water fern cake)
Bánh bèo, a signature dish from the Central Region of Vietnam ranks 81st on the list with 4.1/5 stars. Authentic bánh bèo includes ingredients like shrimp paste, pork, fried onions, pork rinds, and fried bread. The Taste Atlas page points out that the highlight of bánh bèo is the indentation in the middle of the cake, used to hold various fillings to bring different flavors.
