Vietnam visa on arrival requirement for South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands citizens

To apply for the Vietnam visa on arrival, each applicant must meet these requirements:

• Travelling to the country by air only;
• Holding at least 6 month valid passport (it may not reach 6 months, as long as the airline allows him/ her to join the flight) which includes as less as one blank page;
• Applying for it before arriving in Vietnam;

H3: The process of Vietnam visa upon arrival

1/ Step 1: Submitting application

Each applicant needs to go directly to our website to fill in the online secure application form. The applicant is supposed to check his/ her information really carefully before moving to the next step since the visa is issued based on what provided. The applicant will be rejected to enter the country if arriving with a wrong visa.

2/ Step 2: Completing payment

The applicant can easily make the payment online by our diverse online payment gate. In case there is problem with the applicants account, please inform us by email: visa@vietnam-evisa.org for further instruction.

There are two types of visa fee that applicant should be aware of:

1/ Service fee which is paid to us for handing the dossiers to Vietnam Immigration Department on applicants behalf.

2/ Stamping fee which is paid to Immigration Department and is obliged for all foreign travellers.

3/ Step 3: Receiving visa approval letter

After two working days (if applying for tourist visa) or three working days (if applying for business visa), the applicant will be provided with visa approval letter via email. The applicant should check again all the information to make sure that it fixed with his/ her passport.

4/ Step 4: Receiving the visa stamp

The applicant will be provided with visa stamp once arriving at Visa landing counter in Vietnamese International airport and is allowed to enter the country afterward.

To expedite the process at arrival, the applicant should prepare these dossiers beforehand:

• Valid passport as above;
• Printed visa approval letter;
• Cash for Visa stamping fee handing;
• Fulfilled Vietnam Entry and exit form which can be downloaded here.
• Two 4x6 cm photos (or same size passport photos) which can be taken with payment at the arrival.
